Store Manager

Winter Park, Florida


The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Rifle Paper Co.’s flagship storefront location in Winter Park, FL by providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the storefront team is trained and equipped to provide the same caliber of customer service, managing and merchandising inventory, and planning and executing local storefront events. This role reports directly to the Rifle Paper Co. brand Senior Customer Experience Manager as part of the Sales team.
  • Greet all customers and studio guests with a kind, helpful, and cheery demeanor
  • Effectively perform operational functions including but not limited to being a key holder, managing the register, and back office management procedures including submitting expense reports and unpacking inventory
  • Monitor inventory and create inventory transfer requests using SAP Business One on a monthly basis, submitting intermittent transfer requests when necessary
  • Work with the Assembly Manager to create monthly storefront coverage schedule
  • Effectively train sales associates on Square POS system and serve as a role model in sales generation and customer service
  • Develop and update a yearly spreadsheet that analyzes monthly storefront revenue and expenditures
  • Maintain visual standards, including merchandise presentation, signage, lighting, flowers, and general maintenance
  • Assist in the creation of storefront window and behind-the-counter displays
  • Responsible for planning and executing in-store events
  • Monitor and evaluate expenses and income from in-store events
  • Purchase and inventory third-party items for the storefront as approved, and maintain inventory
  • Proactively work with Senior Customer Experience Manager to drive awareness to the store and all events
  • Attend local merchant meetings (Hannibal Square Association, Park Avenue Merchants Association)
Skills & Requirements
  • 2+ years of retail experience required, management a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong listening and comprehension skills
  • Prior event planning experience preferred
  • Experience working with Square POS system a plus
  • Strong merchandising skills
  • Previous buying experience preferred
  • Extremely detail oriented but also able to multitask under pressure
  • Experience working in SAP or different ERP software a plus
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to lift/carry/move 30lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to climb ladders and work on elevated surfaces from time to time
