Normally I love rifle paper co and have even ordered multiple other rugs from them that I have been super pleased with. This made me feel confident in ordering this rug online even with the higher cost. I ordered the 'navy and gray' which in hindsight... the name is pretty accurate. However, the colors in the photos are extremely misleading. In the photos, it looks like a richly colored rug with teals/browns/greens. In reality it is a super dusty blue and gray basically. I do not like it and am grumpy that I don't really have an option to do anything about it. I also think the rug is priced a bit on the high side for a pretty basic rug quality. If the color had been right I would have been content but now I just feel ripped off. I hate that this will make me question ordering rugs from here in the future because I was super pleased with the others I ordered. Online shopping can really suck for big purchases like this. (note the colors in my photos are after trying to push the nap in the slightly better direction but that is not even the default direction of the fibers... so it is really even more off than the photos I attached seem)
I bought this rug a couple of years ago and will say it has held up well. The colors however were a MAJOR disappointment. I ordered the Rust and Navy rug and it looked more pale pink and silver. The only way I could return it was by paying for shipping and I decided just to keep it. Overall, love the print, hate the color still.
This rug photographs well but in person, it is much much lighter. The fibers are super synthetic and slick—you can easily slide across the rug. When I opened the rug, I thought I’d been sent the wrong color. Customer service through rifle paper was great. Customer service through Loloi was nice enough, but the only option they offered was for me to return the rug and pay for shipping myself. Between the hassle of getting this enormous rug to the place of shipment (it won’t fit in our cars) and then paying for the heavy rug to be sent back, it wasn’t worth the fuss. I’ve purchased two rifle paper Co. x Loloi rugs in the past and they’ve both been awesome, so I was willing to take a chance on this one. Unfortunately, the material and quality of this “power loomed” rug is so vastly different from what I had already received, I was super bummed.
Excellent quality. Love the colors and pattern. GREAT customer service. I’m so pleased with them… I ended up buying 3!
We bought a beautiful rug at Home Goods. We liked it so much we researched and found the rifle paper company and bought two more. Good quality, so soft to walk barefoot on it, and the colors and pattern are delightful. Contacting the company brought top customer service. Quick response. We’ve found a new favorite company!
