Behind the Collection
We’re proud to partner with York Wallcoverings, the oldest and largest wallpaper producer in the United States, to manufacture our wallpaper collection. Each sheet is created with high-quality, time-honored printing techniques, resulting in vibrant colors, lush textures, and true longevity in your home.
York Wallcoverings has been manufacturing wallpaper from the same factory in York, Pennsylvania, for over 100 years.
York operates five types of printing presses and selects the best technique to bring each individual design to life.
York Wallcoverings is the only company in North America with a surface press, a heritage print technique that gives wallpaper a truly hand-painted look and feel.
Each design starts with original hand-painted patterns by Rifle Paper Co. co-founder and artist Anna Bond.
As a new collection comes to life, each print is carefully selected and reviewed for the perfect color, scale, and repeat.
At the York Wallcoverings factory, inks (including special metallics) are laid one at a time, layering together to create a vibrant, eye-catching pattern.
Sheets are pulled from the press and inspected for color and texture, ensuring each print is flawlessly rendered and ready to be applied to your walls.
