Palais Luxembourg Printed Rug

I had been in love with this rug for years, and finally bought it during a Labor Day sale. It arrived quickly, and was well wrapped. The details: we do not wear shoes in our home, we have teenagers, a big dog, and our house is mostly shaded year-round. Two years of being in our family room- you would think it was an antique rug. It has faded terribly- save for the rectangle in the middle where our coffee table sits. The rug has multiple goodly sized pulls and the edges between the rug & the binding shows in a handful of different places.

Would I order it again? I’m not sure- but for something that is *supposed* to be walked on & used- not just admired- I expected…better.

I LOVE the colors and pattern. Dark teal with navy blue border. Very soft coral/blush pinks. It is a thin rug, so I recommend a pad if you want cushion under your feet. It has a smooth surface, no shag or plushness at all. I’ve had it for a few weeks and it looks/feels great! No complaints, I recommend.
