The story of our newest print starts in the summer of 2022, when Anna and Nathan traveled to Florence, Italy with their three boys.
On a quiet cobblestone street in the heart of the city, they visited the shop of Riccardo Luci, who taught them his lifelong craft, the art of marbled paper.
Marbled paper is a tradition in Florence dating back to the 16th century. Paint is sprinkled over a plant-based gel, and the colors are swirled together to create unique patterns and shapes. Paper is carefully applied on top, picking up the pattern.
