I purchased this thinking it would be the same as the one I got last year that I loved. Unfortunately it is quite a bit smaller. I guess that is my bad for assuming it would be the same and not carefully reading the description. However, my bigger issue is the elastic page marker is not positioned so that it holds the pages. It's too far to the right. The marker was the most important feature of the planner for me and it doesn't work.

Last year I tried to get a different planner but it wasn't this one. This planer is my favorite one and I love it! Enough space for my daily activities, great calendar and the stickers are a plus to me.

Perfect size to carry along without the bulk of larger planners. The strap keeps everything in place and the extra inside pockets are handy for receipts.

I initially purchased this academic planner for two reasons. 1) I really liked the design of the week by week section, and 2) I got it on sale. However, I was pretty disappointed with the rest of this planner. My first complaint, which I have seen other reviews talk about, is that the elastic page marker doesn't actually hold any of the pages since it's positioned too far to the right, so it can only hold the entire planner closed.
Additionally, the tabs are not very functional and make it difficult to be able to quickly page to the correct day. Especially because the tabs for August-December 2024 coverup all the tabs for the 2025 year, which means you need to flip to the January 2025 tab to be able to even see the other 2025 month tabs. Since I purchased this for 2025, I ended up just ripping out all the months for 2024, and that was very helpful.
Also, I would have assumed that the monthly calendars would have been in the same section as the weekly calendars (for example: monthly calendar of January followed by the weekly calendars of January, then the monthly calendar of February followed by the weekly calendars of February, etc), but the monthly calendars are completely separate area in the planner under one tab labeled "month by month" so you have to flip through each page individually to find the month you need. To fix this issue, I just added a post-it to the appropriate month so I could easily flip to it when needed.
Overall, I like the idea of this planner, but…
