These placemats are great quality and absolutely beautiful.
I bought 8 of these placemats. They are gorgeous and fit perfectly in our dining room. They are not laminated but have a matte surface with shiny gold paint. But a month later the gold paint is wiping off (I only wipe with a damp cloth as directed).

My 9 ft. table has a wax finish, so hot foods can melt the wax slightly and leave a stain on the back of some placemats. Cork placemats are hard to find in beautiful colors, but these are perfect AND beautiful!!
These placemats are awesome! I debated buying them for a while and I’m so glad I did. The pattern is beautiful and vibrant and they are easy to wipe clean. Definitely an upgrade from my weaved placemats. Highly recommended!!
