I bought 8 of these placemats. They are gorgeous and fit perfectly in our dining room. They are not laminated but have a matte surface with shiny gold paint. But a month later the gold paint is wiping off (I only wipe with a damp cloth as directed).

The colours are so vibrant and the shine is really pretty. Love how beautiful the floral design is and the cork placemat seems very sturdy and handles heat very well, no warping etc when used. Easy to clean off after meals. Happy!
