I do machine embroidery and have been planning to make a skirt for a long time. It would be a special heirloom that I could pass on. When I saw this nativity skirt, I knew that nothing I could make would be as special. I love the scenes and the gold braiding really elevates it. My only disappointment was that it was pretty crumpled when I got it. I did iron the backing which is larger than the embroidered front so it wants to show. I kept shifting it to the top so it wouldn't show so much at the bottom. It still shows a bit but it is on a flat surface so understandable. As I understand the construction mechanics behind it, I can give it a lot of grace. It is lovely and the navy is rich looking. I was grateful to purchase it on sale and yet get it well before Christmas. It is showing as out of stock right now.
