I adore my large Garden Party claw clips. My hair is fine, reasonably thick and almost to the middle of my shoulder blades, and the lips hold it just fine. I am not sure if that would be true for someone with coarser, longer hair. The reason that I adore them is because my hair is almost totally white, and the combination of the bright clips against my white hair is striking, ditto with the silk scrunchies and headband that was included in the set.

These are packaged nicely and are beautifully printed. They are the same length as other large claw clips that I own, but that is where the “large” ends. I have thick hair that sits past my shoulders. These do not hold as much hair as other large claw clips that I own and I was disappointed in that. I would say they function more like a medium size clip in the volume of hair they can hold. They’re so pretty, but they just don’t have the ability to hold all of my hair and I rarely do half updos. I wish they had an extra large size. If you have long thick hair and are expecting them to work for a full up-do, I would not recommend this size.

The floral patterns on these clips are very pretty. The clips hold my hair well and look really cute. Quality is quite good. They would make a nice gift.
