Hand-painted illustrations and distinctive color palette are the heart of Rifle Paper Co.
It all starts with a painting. Our co-founder Anna Bond uses gouache, an opaque water color, to create original artwork that becomes our signature prints and patterns. When I think of a quality oven mitt, I think of one that prevents my hands from even feeling warm, let alone hot when I use them. Though these gloves are rated to 450 degrees, even pulling a pan out at 350 will have you feeling the heat if you don't let go of the pan quickly enough. I'm sure they'll be fine, but some times you end up holding a pan longer than intended, and I don't look forward to that with these mitts.
I was at a kitchen store the other day and tried on a glove after these gloves from Rifle arrived and they were substantially thicker. I imagine I'll get another pair of mitts so I can have true peace of mind in the kitchen when grabbing hot things.

We ordered 2 Oven Mitts- Cherries. Very cute & great quality. Our daughter in law loved them. She had oven mitts on her wish list. I was surprised when I went out shopping that plain colors were my only option besides Christmas themed. Her home is decorated very cute and stylish, a plain oven mitt was not her style. That’s when I came home from a long day of shopping and searched online. I typed in “cute oven mitts, and up popped Rifle Paper Company. Happy ending to the story was the big smile of my daughter-in-law !
