We have a cat that likes to chew things against his back teeth and he goes after electric wires. I tried so many different cat toys to see if he would like to chew on them but nothing took. Finally I thought of using straws and these paper straws are sturdy and hold up to him chewing them. He only chews about five or six times and then moves on to something else, but whenever I find him going after something we would rather not (this morning, the top of some cocoa envelopes I have out in an open container for the holidays) we were able to successfully distract him with a straw and it kept him occupied until he was ready to move on to something else.

These pretty paper straws worked perfectly with my lavender lemonade drinks for a friend's birthday party. They held up in the iced drinks on a warm spring afternoon. Several guests asked for the link to buy them for their own upcoming gatherings.
