Perennial Strawberry Fields Power Loomed Rug

So first off, I did not realize how these loom rugs would look — I was expecting something plushier but it’s quite thin and almost abstract looking because of the way it’s machine made. We intended it for the living room but are going to use it in the dining room instead because it reminds me of an outdoor rug. Returning it you eat the shipping would cost at minimum 1/4 of what the rug cost so we are keeping it. It also pills super easy - and looks unfinished in places because of the way it’s made. We have a cat and we’ve had it for 2 weeks and already have 3 spots where it’s pulling up — is it the cat or normal wear and tear? Not sure! SO I’d say it’s a risky rug unless it’s purely for display in an area not frequented often.

Love the look! I bought this rug because we have pets and I thought it would be decent for high-traffic. Within 30 minutes we had multiple pulls— just from walking in and out of the room. I’ve never had that happen with a rug before. Maybe it’s just me the type of rug is super delicate and I didn’t research enough? Still, I was disappointed; I generally buy rugs second-hand, so I’m kind of bummed that the one I bought new wouldn’t keep its general shape for even a day. So I wouldn’t recommend if you have pets or if people wear shoes indoors in your house. But the print is pretty!
