This medium size umbrella has a beautiful design. Which is why I was willing to spend a little bit more on it than a standard umbrella. To open it you need to use the button and also to close it. The button is slightly stiff but not bad. It also will refold and fit into its over bag very easily which is not true for all umbrellas. Have not yet used it in a heavy storm with lots of wind. I try not to use umbrellas in that weather anyways but it's a good test to see how well made an umbrella is.

The colors are very pretty, and it is small enough to fit in my purse, which is what I was hoping for. Works well; seems sturdy so far.
