I have had this rug for about 4 months now and it still sheds a lot. Before giving a poor review I was giving it some time to shed some loose fibers but it’s just non stop. My black socks get loaded with fibers from this carpet and when I vacuum, a significant amount of fibers get picked up every time. It’s a very beautiful rug but I wish I had purchased something else.

This is a beautiful rug with such a cute pattern and colors! Unlike another rug I bought from Rifle, the colors in the photo are accurate for the cream rug. I wish I had known how easy it would be for my cat to ruin it, though—so I wanted to warn others. My cat loves to claw at the loops and they come out easily and the whole thing looks ratty and ruined within a few months of buying it. I’ve never had a rug like this so I’m not sure if this is an issue with quality or if my cat would be able to ruin any loop rug. Be careful if you have a cat!
